The Top Six Facts About the 1993 WTC Bombing

Fact #1:
The bomb used in the 1993 WTC bombing was built in its early states by FBI informant Emad Salem. Salem planned to eventually substitute fake explosive powder into it, but was pulled off the case by his FBI supervisor/handlers against his protests before he got the chance. (New York Times, Washington Post, History Channel)

Oops!

Fact #2:
The co-mastermind of the 1993 WTC bombing plot, Abdel Rahman, a.k.a. the Blind Sheik, was approved for U.S. tourist visas by CIA officers four times prior to the bombing despite being a high-profile figure on the U.S. no-entry terrorist watch list. (New York Times, Newsweek)

Oops again!

Fact #3:
The 1993 WTC bombing conspirators were all trained in Brooklyn, New York by Ali Mohammed, who was a CIA asset, an FBI informant, a U.S. Army Sergeant who trained Green Berets and Delta Force special-ops officers at Fort Bragg, a top personal aid and confidante to Osama Bin Laden, the trainer of Bin Laden’s personal security entourage, and the author of the Al Qaeda terrorist training manual. He even trained the WTC bombers using manuals from Fort Bragg!

In case you missed it, I’ll say that again: Ali Mohammed was a CIA asset, an FBI informant, a U.S. Army Sergeant who trained Green Berets and Delta Force special-ops officers at Fort Bragg, a top personal aid and confidante to Osama Bin Laden, the trainer of Bin Laden’s personal security entourage, and the author of the Al Qaeda terrorist training manual. (Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Guardian, Huffington Post, New York Times, SF Chronicle)

What a resumé!

Fact #4:
The WTC bombers were all associates of the Islamic “Alkifah Center” in Brooklyn, New York. The Alkifah Center, in addition to being Al Qaeda’s operational headquarters in the United States, was also a covert CIA recruitment center. (BBC, Boston Herald, Chicago Tribune, Independent, New York Times, Newsweek)

What a coincidence!

Fact #5:
When WTC bombing co-mastermind Ramzi Yousef was discovered in Pakistan in 1995, the CIA tried to prevent the FBI from arresting him. When it failed to do so, the CIA used at least three separate computer deletion programs to erase incriminating evidence from Yousef’s computer. (CBS News, Los Angeles Times, Newsday)

Uh… oops?

Fact #6:
In 1994, WTC bombing conspirators Ramzi Yousef and his uncle, 9/11 architect Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM), planned an attack on the U.S. which included piloting hijacked commercial airliners into the Pentagon, the White House, Congress, and the World Trade Center towers. The plot was exposed in the Philippines in 1995, with all evidence taken into the custody of the CIA and FBI.

However, Yousef’s 1996 trial strangely omitted any reference to hijacked commercial airliners or his uncle, KSM, who had also been indicted, albeit secretly. KSM then managed to routinely travel in and out the U.S. in the years that followed as he coordinated the 9/11 plot.
